About the Karaka Million race
Late last January, the hammer went down at the National Yearling Sales in Karaka and hundreds of finely-bred one-year-old horses were sold to new homes in the hopes of becoming the next 'big thing' in thoroughbred
racing.
This year at Ellerslie, 14 of the top earning horses from the sales (all who are now two-year-olds) will race head-to-head in New Zealand's richest race, the $1,000,000 Karaka Million - under the gaze of the glitterati of the racing world and Auckland's social set.

- Then party at the Birdcage Bash in Cuvée with music from top covers band, CVE and tunes from our resident DJ 'til late (entry into the Birdcage Bash is R18 and a dress code applies)
